We couldn't find anything consistent that would console her and we thought it was strong acid reflux. Eventually, our cousin and a couple other mommas recommended seeing if she had a lip tie or tongue tie. They recommended a specialist who lasers off any tongue-ties or lip-ties. We went just to see if there was an issue and learned that even though she could stick her tongue out, she couldn't move it up high enough to get a strong suction for milk and as a result was always gulping air which caused gas and remained hungry.
