I can't complain. This song is so incredibly close to me and every time I sing it, it is a special moment for me. But, it was extra special this time because 1) I SANG FOR DAVID FOSTER 2) I sang for David Foster AND HIS FRIENDS and 3) Everyone in the room was there to support the David Foster Foundation and their work. $3.2 million was raised that night alone all in support of the foundation. Amazing. It was a lovely, wonderful wonderful evening. I was honoured to be a part of it and to sing in front of WINNIPEG, MY HOME. Thank you to Lady Gaga for writing this song, to David for letting me steal some stage time lol, to his friends, to the David Foster Foundation, to my manager Steven, and to you!
