Description: Happy New Year! In:Sole is back again for 2022 and we’re kicking things off strong. Now that we’re back in the office we’re going to be bringing you new videos every week including exclusive early looks, unboxings, reviews and much more, so make sure you keep locked in! Since it’s the start of the year we thought it was only right to talk about some of our sneaker predictions for 2022. What will be the sneaker of the year? Which trends will carry on and which will die out? We talk about all of this and more. So what should we expect from the sneaker industry in 2022? If we’re talking about silhouettes we think Jordan Brand is going to have another huge year. Although the Jordan 1 dominated 2020 and 2021, we think 2022 may be a different story. The Jordan 3 and Jordan 4 are set to have a huge year, with the Air Jordan 3 ‘Fire Red’ and AJ4 ‘Red Thunder’ rumoured to be dropping within the year. Of course we couldn’t talk about sneaker trends without mentioning New Balance. The Boston brand has been at the forefront of the latest sneaker collabs and releases, partly thanks to their new creative director, Teddy Santis. We see this continuing into 2022 and think that the NB550 will continue to rise to the same levels as the Nike Dunk. Looking at the 2022 sneaker trends, we also think retro sneakers will continue to be popular. Although we love a new silhouette, you really can’t beat the classics! On top of that expect to see more comfortable trainers such as Crocs and Yeezy Foam RNNRs. As we navigate the post-pandemic landscape, many of us are looking for comfort rather than style. With it being a new year we also had to bring up some of our new year sneaker resolutions. Some of us who missed out on some drops last year and are filled with regret is looking to buy even more in 2022, while others are looking to downsize and buy less but better. Overall, no matter what 2022 holds, we’re excited to see it!
