It's a pretty decent transmitter and definitely an upgrade from previous "kit" radios. This quick video will show you how to change it between D8 and D16 modes and how to put the radio into bind mode. Remember that it works with FRSKY, so if you have a different receiver (non-FRSKY) in your quad, it won't work. But FRSKY is pretty common - especially in EMAX quadcopters.
