You can get a holster for one, to fit any budget, at: aliengearholsters.com/holsters/taurus-pt111-g2.html The Taurus G2C is a slim double-stack subcompact, being about halfway between a Glock 26 and Glock 19 in size, so it's right in that Goldilocks zone for EDC. Standard capacity is 12+1 of 9mm, so it's hardly high-capacity but is respectable. The G2C is a striker-fired pistol, but does have second-strike capability, which is rather rare. Controls are the standard magazine release and slide stop/slide release, but the G2C also includes a manual safety if you wish to use one. Sights are rather standard three-dot sights, with an adjustable ramp rear sight and fixed front sight. The frame includes a railed dust cover for attaching accessories. The frame has indents above the trigger guard and on the grip for indexing the trigger finger and shooting hand thumb on either side, which is actually a nice touch. Are there any downsides to the G2C? Well, the thing is that these pistols typically go for less than $300 in stores, so if you're expecting a Colt Gold Cup, you'll be in for a rude awakening. But if you go into it understanding that it's meant as a carry piece for the budget-conscious, it's a solid working-class gun. The trigger is not match-grade, but is easily usable. The sights aren't fantastic, but are still very usable. We found it to be reliable and accurate, and ergonomically pleasant despite it's modest price tag.
