Baking soda- ½ tsp. Baking powder- 2 tsp. Desiccated coconut- 1 C. Cocoa powder- 5 tbsp. Brown sugar- 1 + ¼ C. Wet ingredients : Eggs- 2 Butter / oil – ¾ C. Milk- 1 + ½ C. or 360 ml. Lemon juice- 1 +1/4 tbsp. Vanilla essence- 2 tsp. Grease and dust the cake mold with some plain flour. Preheat oven at 180C. Mix all dry ingredients well and keep a side. Mix all well ingredients very well. Add dry ingredients into wet into 3 to 4 small batches. Mix them well without any lumps. Pour the batter into mold and bake for 35-40 minutes. Before removing, insert a tooth pick, if it comes out clean then your cake is ready. Cool it completely before slicing the cake.
