Description: Are you an Alien? Go to the discord here to find out - discord.gg/TAsNzhx I'll also be taking song requests, doing tutorials on Singing/Songwriting/Youtubing/Music Production/LIFE, and in general having fun WITH you. Listen on all platforms here - album.link/us/i/1509862264 If you're wondering if you saw this posted before, you're right. I posted some of these songs last year, but as I progressed in learning how to mix a bit better recently, I kept being nagged by the mix on a few of them, and wanted to upgrade them, so I took the album down. In that same time, I ended up writing a few new tunes that I wanted to add to it, so those are on here, too. I had a couple cover songs on the last version, as well that were removed so this album is only original songs. I hope you guys can find some new tunes that resonate with you. I put a lot of raw emotions in here, and attempted to dig deep on the singer/songwriter side of the music spectrum on a lot of it. As a fan of the 90s-2000s R&B Era and still feeling like it had some of the all-time songs, in general, I've missed the sounds of that era, so you'll probably catch some of those influences here. A lot of stories told on this album. Some mine, some from random inspirations. The last two songs are demos I never released from 2007 & 2011. The 2007 one 'I Love You Mom' is a song tied to a lot of pain of losing my best friend's Mom to Suicide, and I just never felt it was the right time to release it. She was like a 2nd mom to me my whole childhood, so I wrote it for my friend and his 3 brothers the week she passed, and they played it during a slide show of her life at her funeral. My friend Jeremy Ryan helped compose and record it, playing the piano on it, and he unfortunately passed a few years after she did...so this song just wrecks me.....But I had the overwhelming urge that it needed to be shared. I hope that through the pain this song encapsulated can bring some love, relief, peace, or something to someone going through a loss and wishing they had one more chance to tell someone they loved them. My belief is that they ARE getting to hear your thoughts to them. The 2011 song is called "We Pray For You" and it was a vocal reference I recorded for a giant Youtuber collab I put together after the Psunami/Earthquake in Japan that year. I was lucky enough for my buddy Brett McLaughlin to write it with me, and managed to get 55 other YouTubers to sing on it. You can view that video here - youtube.com/watch?v=G03HgSxDqlA If you've read this far, thank you. I hope this album can help you catch some feels that heal, during this time that lately feels surreal.
