Description: Short information about the ceremony. Weaning Ceremony known as Pashni or Annaprasan is a big event for us, Nepali. Aizel Rani was able to celebrate her big day with her close family members in Australia. In Nepali Hindu culture, when baby girls turns 5 months and baby boys turns 6, this ceremony is celebrated. This auspicious day will be decided by the Hindu priest. The day will start by giving milk bath to a baby in a big silver bowl. Since Red colour indicates sensuality and purity, babies will wear a beautiful red velvet or taash fabric attire on this auspicious day. Varieties of food will be prepared but, the main dish for the day is Rice Pudding.
