Description: In Episode 5 of our Sustainability Series, we head on the road to Ardoix, just a couple of hours form Salomon’s Annecy Design Center, to get an inside look at the Advanced Shoe Factory (ASF) 4.0. The just-opened factory relies on Artificial Intelligence, computer programs and human shoe-making skills to create footwear locally, right here in France. Along with several local French brands, Salomon is an investor in this new, state-of-the-art facility operated by Chamatex and Salomon trail running shoes will be the first of the production line next spring. We take a unique tour of the facility and our host learns that he was not invited to the grand opening party. So sad.
