During that summer I had just moved to the coast and through slowly immersing myself in nature again and spending time with friends/family, I started to feel connected with the world again and the people around me, feeling more like myself. The coastal environment also heavily inspired the lyrics of this song. I wanted this to be an uplifting song for others to connect with, as a reminder to take a breathe and relieve your daily stresses. During the bridge of the song, you can hear subtly voices speaking as if they are having a conversation. This is actually from a video recording I'd captured while eating breakfast with my family.
