Santlal Chawariya, 60, known as the ‘Weather Man’ in his village claims he can sleep on ice blocks for more than six hours at a time even when temperatures drop to as low as 1˚C near his home in Haryana, Northern India - a feat yet to be achieved by anyone else in the world.When his family and friends are wrapped up in blankets and huddled in front of fires in the winter, Santlal is sitting on ice in shorts claiming he is so hot he needs cooling down. Santlal said: “Unlike others I sweat in the winter. I just feel like I’m boiling hot. I don’t even wear a tshirt as my body heat is too much. “I even have to drink cold water and ask my neighbours for ice to eat in the winter.
