Description: NOTE: I am personally against mixing Arabic recitation with Audio translation. The listener cannot enjoy either in that case. It is necessary to keep the focus of the viewer. I prefer reading along the translation. I would advise my viewers to listen to this translation once and then watch this Arabic recitation of Surah Muminoon: youtu.be/l082ivWaoho. A friend of mine from Turkey has read it just like Sheikh Mishary, in fact better. Unfortunately he did not read the complete Surah. I have requested him to read the complete Surah. We will make a visualization of that if he reads it for us. Audio only English translation of Surah Muminoon (Chapter 23 of the Holy Quran, سورة المؤمنون). This Meccan chapter emphasizes that the believers are guaranteed success whereas the disbelievers are bound to fail. Allah emphasizes his favors and then we are told how he sent many messengers to mankind and how the elite (leaders) of the society rejected them. The last part is dedicated to the judgment of the believers and the disbelievers. Focus is on the fate of the wicked who abused the believers. This is one of most powerful Surahs of the Quran if you read with translation only. The subject matter seems disjoint. However, unlike many other Surahs it is easier for the average person to appreciate the purpose of all the variety and appreciate the divine revelation that is the Quran. Translation: "The Study Quran: A New Translation and Commentary" by Seyyed Hossein Nasr et al About the Translation: The translation confirms to the original text as much as possible. Some extra words were added at a few points to make the dialogue more clear. Long passages concerning the same subject were not edited. To my knowledge, this is the first time anyone has published this particular translation of this Surah for youtube. My next shall be Surah Baqarah, In sha Allah. Will try to read it in 50 minutes.
