And I missed it. With long distance adventures looming on the horizon, I wanted to come back to the sport I've been involved in since 2009. But a meniscus tear has questioned my confidence in recent years to see if that was possible. Enter PCTR and Montaña de Oro 50K - a race series and an event I'd run since the beginning, when things were more low-key and grassroots. It made sense to come back to this race (I had a previous DNF) to retrace my roots and get inspired to run again. Thanks to Greg Lanctot and all the amazing volunteers, photographers and fellow runners out there. It truly was great to be back!
