Turn delay/reverb off for a nice "singer/songwriter" direct acoustic tone! Be careful that your input level isn’t clipping, and if available to you, I would recommend using a split-coil pickup position for this, or a single coil (preferably middle) pickup. "High Life” Inspired by Tim Miller. The idea is to blend the sound of a smooth, fusion guitar tone with the percussive, snappy, pick- attack you would get by using a microphone on an unplugged electric guitar. Make sure your input isn’t clipping, and check the Gate setting of the “Acoustic” preset - it should allow the initial pick-attack of your notes but not much sustain after. To use this, you'll have to route your guitar through a DAW, rather than use the standalone Archetype app. The same guitar signal from your interface will need to run into the "Acoustic" preset on one stereo track, the "Electric" preset on another stereo track, and then send both of these to a Bus with the “Master FX" preset. "Old Fashioned” A simple, nostalgic clean tone. "Soda Boy” I turned everything all the way up and this is what happened — sounds kinda like carbonated water tastes. Try rolling your tone knob all the way down, and try adding an octave below (I did this using Logic's "Pitch Shift" plugin) for added effect! “Camino" Inspired by the huge rock tones on The Band CAMINO's album "tryhard".
