Description: Are planks overrated and a waste of your time? Over the years I’ve heard people say this and I’ve even seen videos here on YouTube stating it, so I decided I’d share my opinion on the subject. In a nutshell, planks are like all others exercises - you only get out of them as much as you put in. So if you don’t use proper form, or fail to engage total body tension, you’re not going to get as much benefit from planks as you could be getting. However, if you do them correctly and learn TBT from them? Then planks are totally worth it and are a true staple in bodyweight fitness and calisthenics training. So that’s what I explain this video.
