Description: Bridgerton is a show full of delightful storylines, beautiful costumes, and situations that left actors blushing HARD. We’re going behind the scenes to learn about just how awkward filming some of the scenes from the second season of Bridgerton really was for the actors. As beautiful as the costumes are, they can cause the actors some real struggles. Jonathan Bailey was blushing when he had a little costume malfunction that left him revealing way more of himself than he’d hoped to in front of a set full of cast and crew. Multiple cameras were on him and he literally screamed for the whole cast to hear! The wardrobe got the best of his co-star, Simone Ashley, as well, as she was left feeling completely awkward while trying to make out in a corset. Luke Newton is a softie and found himself tearing up for real on set - but sneakily pretending it was just a character choice. Which cast member caught him in the act during the emotional scene? Luke Thompson on the other hand, embarrassed himself while playing Pall Mall on the set and creating a whole lot of extra work for the prop department. Any guesses as to how many mallets he wound up breaking in the end? Thompson was also unfortunately the victim of a trick. The actor fully believed he’d had part of his hair shaved right off his head in the back! The horses in Bridgerton bring a lot of magic, but what we don’t see on screen is all the ways they could ruin intimate and romantic scenes. With this many wheels in motion, the show is bound to be full of awkward and embarrassing filming scenarios.
