Description: The gear down sequence of an Airbus A330 of Turkish Airlines. Usually I don` t film that far away from the airport but this day I focused on filming the gear down procedure of a heavy plane. This A330 was approaching runway 23L of Düsseldorf Airport and about 20km before touching down on the runway the Turkish Airbus lowered its landing gear. It` s not quite easy to catch this moment because all planes lower the landing gear somewhere else. Took me almost 20 attempts to get a perfect clip. I also included the rare Airbus A330 of Geodis which visited Düsseldorf on a maintenance visit. Geodis is a rather new cargo company from the united kingdom and they are connected with Titan Airways. They mainly operate between Zhenghzhou and Amsterdam and currently they only operate a single aircraft. We were quite lucky they choose Düsseldorf for their short maintenance visit. I also filmed the last landing of an Aeroflot Airbus A330 at Düsseldorf.
