The full moon setting at sunrise off of the Kailua Kona coast behind the incoming NCL Pride of America cruise ship. 3-20-19. It travels around the Hawaiian islands. Shot with my Panasonic GH5 and the Leica 100 - 400mm. Dual image stabilization. Old Rode video mic pro. Dolica carbon fiber tripod and ball head. Audio is the ocean lapping up against the rocks below me. I'm standing on a small embankment along the road on the other side of a guardrail so, you'll hear vehicles passing. Larger ones would make the area shake. The ocean is just a few feet below me. The volcano stopped months ago and it could be years before it gets going again. I have tons of other videos I've been wanting to make so, now I can get busy on them. A couple of older lava videos coming soon plus more surfing and other random subjects.
