Cutting all my hair off has got me looking back at not only old videos of mine, but also old hairstyles I had back when I was in highschool and other things I was into at that time AKA Digimon etc. I’m now 27 and for the first time reflecting on all that i’ve done up until this point for some reason has been really odd but also super cool and I’m feeling very grateful for the experiences I’ve had in life so far. I’m excited for what’s next really. Anyway, here’s what’s happened this month in summary: 00:00 - Intro This point is literally just here for time stamping haha keep ready. 00:33 - Why Growing From a Buzzcut is Better If you’re wondering whether you should shave your head and grow it out or just start with your disconnected undercut, wonder no more my friend because I finally found the best answer. I believe starting from a buzzcut is actually the better solution when it comes to growing out your hair because the hair grows evenly making it less obvious as to whether or not your hair is “meant to look like that” as opposed to having a disconnected undercut where it’s almost expected for the side to look short all the time in order for the style to look any good. After 2 months I was really expecting to not be happy with my hair based on how my first check in went. I even put “I HATE IT” in the thumbnail lol. 03:08 - My New Hair Growth Goal Growing my hair was the only goal so far but after watching the Attack on Titan anime series, I’ve actually grown quite fond of the much anticipated man bun style Eren Yeager is supposed to be sporting in Season 4 of the show. Amidst all the stuff I got up to this month I also randomly drove past my old high school that jogged my memory about the awful chemically straightened hair I had in grade ten lol. Ahhh the memories. 08:41 - Eren Yeager's Hairstyle In this section of the video I just covered a little more in detail about the Eren Yeager hairstyle that i’m aiming for and how the dimensions of the anime character would actually look on a real life head. I filmed this part of the check in straight after my most recent Eren Yeager video so if you’ve already seen it then you can probs just skip this part of the check in. 12:30 - Hairstyles I Used to Have OMG I’m not even going to elaborate here, just go have a look at the images I put in this section of all my old hairstyles haha. 16:11 - Hair Measurement & Watermans Progress In this section I pulled one of my hairs out and gave it a measure on my desk at work. My hair really is starting to grow fast and the Watermans is certainly helping me achieve that!
