You breathed life into them and transformed them into living creatures. Loving God, You already knew us and loved us, even before we took our first breath. Thank You for everything you are, and thank you for loving us. Thank you for sending your son, Jesus, on this earth. Thank you for the incredible sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us, when he died on the cross. Though we are made from dust and our bodies will return to dust again, we can live in Eternal Glory with You through the blood of Your son, Jesus Christ. Almighty Father, hear our prayer as we begin this Lenten journey with You. Help us to be honest with ourselves as we look into our hearts and soul. Cleanse our hearts as You wash away our sins with Your Holy and Precious Blood, that you shed for us on the cross. Send your Holy Spirit upon us, to open our hearts and minds. Help us to understand the magnificence of your love for us. We ask you to show us what we need to turn away from, and what we need to turn towards. Guide us as we humbly seek to repent and return to Your love. Transform us during this Lenten season, Heavenly Father, give us the strength to commit ourselves to grow closer to You each day. May our praises never cease in this Holy season of Lent. May our worship be unending. May our love for You find new depths. May this sacred season of Lent, bring new hope and new healing. May these weeks leading upto the promise of Good Friday, and the Glory of Resurrection sunday, Remind us of who you are, how much you love us, and why you have created us to be your followers. Father, in Micah 6:8, The Bible says, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Today we choose to walk humbly with You. We choose to live by Your Holy spirit and to follow Your lead. Help us to hear You clearly, for we do not want to walk by pride or self sufficiency, we want to walk with You. May this season of repentance, bring us the blessing of Your forgiveness, and the gift of Your light. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
