For you it could be 3 minutes in a casting room... 3 minutes of a dance audition. 3 minutes in a job interview. 3 minutes being watched by a sports scout at a game. 3 minutes of a school presentation... it takes 3 minutes to impress the Gatekeeper's that are separating you from your next steps. Your goals. Your ambitions. Your dreams. You can do everything in your power to feel extremely confident in the way you're presenting yourself and work your ass off day and night for the things you're hustling for to become the best version of yourself that you can be, but in the end you have to please the Gatekeepers and sometimes you only get one shot... It's something that all of us working toward our goals have to deal with. It comes down to their impression of you and whether or not they believe in you with what you gave them in the 3 minutes you had to show them your soul. Then after the 3 minutes ends, you replay the moment over and over and over again hoping and praying that you did enough. That you were enough.... It’s sad to think that we put the ideas of being enough in someone else’s hands just because they hold the damn keys to the gate. It's not only about the 10,000 hours of work you put in before that opportunity, it's about the 3 minutes right then and right there in that moment in front of those people you need to accept you to be able to reach your goals.
