In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside for later. 2. In a medium bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla until fluffy. 3. Taking your flour mixture from before, blend it in, and then mix in the coconut. 4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and drop the dough by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Cookies should be 3 inches apart. 5. Bake for 13 minutes in the oven, or until lightly toasted.
