Finally it is Bottle Monday :-) This time we are taking you to the beautiful city of Istanbul, where we just performed at a big festival. The morning after the concert we decided to make a really special video in a big bazaar, because of the great atmosphere. We wanted to play the Turkish song Simarik (which also has been translated to english at some point - here the song was named Kiss Kiss), because of its cool groove and because it allowed us to experiment even more with bending the bottles:-) When we got to the bazaar we asked some of the store owners if we could shoot a really short video next to them, but at first they totally refused, because they thought we were just some drunks with a lot of bottles :-D But when we demonstrated the concept, they definitely lightened up:-) It was rather difficult to shoot the video because of all the people walking by us in this narrow place, and because we weren't allowed to use a tripod for the camera, so we had to ask a kind man to help us film it. The guards only allowed us to play it one time, so this definitely is a one shot!:-) Nerd talk: We shot the video with a Canon 600D and recorded the sound using a Zoom H2N recorder standing on some spices to the right.
