Description: Winter came to big cat rescue in Jan 2022, after she was found in a residential neighborhood. She was very skinny, disoriented, shaking and wobbly....all symptoms that can be linked to Feline Leukomyelopathy (FLM), a disease that has been affecting many wild Florida bobcats and panthers. FLM causes microscopic changes in the brain and spine, causing varying degrees of rear leg weakness and difficulty walking. of A vet from the Florida Wildlife Commission and our vet Dr Boorstein, performed an overall exam, spinal tap, blood-work and X-rays on Winter to see if we could get any information about her condition.
