Description: Drill 1: The L Turn Lay out 2 sets of 5 cones, each 2 of your feet apart. Make sure the sets are 10 yards apart. To start, L-turn through the 5 cones, then flick the ball up and hit it in the air in front of you. Sprint to meet the ball, and receive it on the run. Dribble at speed to the other set of cones and repeat. Drill 2: The Juggle to Dribble to Cruyff Turn Set up a line of cones, each two of your feet apart, for 5 yards. Lay out another cone, 5 yards away from the end of the line on each side. These will be your starting cones. Start on one side, flick the ball up and juggle to the line of cones. Do it at a run for an extra challenge. “Roll, touch” through the line. Dribble at speed and do a Cruyff Turn when you get to the next starting cone and repeat. Drill 3: Four Cone Figure 8 forward through the outside cones and L-turn when going back. Make a box with the ball around the bottom cone and end it on the outside. Pull the ball back and snake it (push the ball with the outside of your foot one way and bring it back in with the inside of your foot without putting your foot down). Then use the other foot to hit the ball across with the inside of your foot, scissor with the same leg (don’t let your foot touch the ground in between). Do a reverse snake (sekan - push the ball with the inside of your foot one way and then with the outside of your foot the other way). Repeat the process with the other side and do as many reps as possible!
