Description: Tool restoration of an old copper sledge hammer. Copper hammers such as this one were manufactured for use in places where a stray spark from a steel hammer could pose a fire risk. I recently got this sledge hammer from a friend, and I thought it was cool enough to be given a good cleaning and a new handle.
