We’ve got Mat in the all-new Land Rover Defender V8, and he’s going up against an AMG G63, a BMW X7 M50, and a Jeep Wrangler V8! So let’s see how these almighty SUVs compare. Starting with the Defender, it’s powered by a 5-litre supercharged V8 that can put down 525hp & 625Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy though, weighing in at 2,470kg. However, it’s still lighter than the G63 alongside it, which tips the scales at 2,550kg! However, it’s also equipped with more power, with its 4-litre twin-turbo V8 able to produce 525hp & 850Nm! As for the Wrangler, well it’s powered by an awesome 6.4-litre V8, but it’s the least powerful car here, putting down just 470hp & 637Nm. The question is, can these three off-roaders be beaten by the X7 M50?! After all, it’s not exactly a slouch, with its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 being good for 530hp & 750Nm!
