I didn't really see the point in clear cups before that. What I learned was that I could see quite a bit better with a clear cup. And when I switched back to a ceramic pink cup, it was kind of like dimming the lights. When I was in my 20s and even 30s, my eyes were great. Things are different in my 60s. In this video, I put together some nice clips using the 8 pro clear cup. I listed amperage and other settings too to make the video as helpful as it can be for anyone learning to tig weld.
