Description: If you have ECR passport than you need to get a emigration clearance before travelling to some of the foreign countries for employment purpose. ECR clearance is required for following countries: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Brunei, Iraq, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE, Libiya, Oman, Qatar, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. You would need two documents for ECR clearance from POE: A clearance Stamp and a Insurance Also, if you are travelling to non-employment purpose than you will need to get your ECR temporarily suspended by writing an application to POE.
