Description: I bought a bike and the shifters were not working. The small levers didn't work to move down to the smaller cogs/rings (the big levers worked). The didn't catch or click. But no worries. Usually it's a very simple, easy fix. The grease gets old and stiff and the spring loaded pawls aren't moving to engage the ratcheting system. Just need to flush out the old grease and re-lube. This fix works on most shifters with ratcheting systems, ie road bike brifters and mountain bike trigger shifters. Just find a hole, and spray the WD-40 in to disolve the old grease. Be sure to relube with Tri-Flow. People keep asking what the inside looks like. youtube.com/watch?v=xkGNN_2CfCY βΆ SUBSCRIBE & HIT THE π bit.ly/SubRJTheBikeGuy π And please give my video a thumbs up π βΆFACEBOOK.com/RJTheBikeGuy facebook.com/RJTheBikeGuy βΆTOOLS rjthebikeguy.com/tools βΆSHIRTS bit.ly/RJBikeGuyShirts βΆWEBPAGE RJTheBikeGuy.com
