Description: Learn how to polish plastic cheap and easy with a heat gun. the video shows how to remove scratches from plastic and the plastic panels on your car, motorcycle, bumpers can be restored using a heat gun. headlights restorations is also possible with this method and can use toothpaste or some polish to restore the headlights to a crystal clear finish. Be very careful not to move the heat gun too close to the object being heated up and be sure to keep moving the heat gun so the heat wouldn't built up in one spot fast. hair dryer may work too but that's not shown in this video. so leave a comment if someone got good results with a hair dryer. Heating up plastic panels is a very effective way to revitalize old plastic. WARNING!! If you happen to have a shiny spot that's doesn't seem to fade away, after the treatment, you can either heat up the entire panel to make it look even (not a practical option for larger surfaces) or use higher grit sand paper like 5000 to roughen it up. All these options are case subjective so the best thing to do is to CHECK THE INCONSPICUOUS AREAS FIRST before you start to see how yours react.
