Description: The Lichess Blitz Titled Arena, July 2021 had World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen (DrNykterstein) setting multiple records, one of which was the highest Blitz rating ever on Lichess. Featured is a game Carlsen played in the event as white against an anonymous Grandmaster. It was this win that pushed Carlsen's blitz rating to a record setting 3136. This 3-minute game was, for me, surprisingly educational. Even though the game's time control was brief, I think it still acts as an excellent example of how to play as white with the bishop pair in a queen-less position against black's Caro-Kann formation.
