Description: ORIGINAL VIDEO youtube.com/watch?v=XiscvoO6GMU SPANISH VERSION youtube.com/watch?v=AUZXQ7-KsDE In today's episode of Making The Trailer I take a look back at my video for Inside Out 2. This video took me around 6 weeks. It was the first video I created as a full time YouTuber. Personally I'm torn as to whether it's my all time favourite video (possibly), but I am very proud with the way this one turned out. The basic plot of this trailer follows the central character (Riley) as she struggles with becoming a teenager. It's a direct sequel to the original and features the same characters. I love this video because it has a strong concept and the the execution turned out even better than I envisioned. The featured character Joy (voiced by Amy Poehler) returns in this trailer. I used audio from her character Leslie Knope (from Parks and Recreation) to help pad out the plot and story. This was a super effects heavy video. Anytime I have to work from a single source material it means a lot of editing and manipulation. This video is comprised of around 12 different animated films and features professional voiceover work. This was also my first attempt at translating a video into another language. The spanish version (Intensa Mente 2) reached around 13 million views and took me an extra two weeks to create. For that video I hired a translator, two voice artists (one female one male). This "Making The Trailer" series is designed to help personalize my channel. It's a way for me to express to you guys how I work as a creator, and also a brief look into the creative process. If you enjoy this video then please let me know. If you hate it, then let me know that too haha. I'm going to continue this series for the next couple weeks and try to feature all of my parody trailer work. Thanks!
