Description: Total garbage. Total joke. Removing a pitcher from the game during a no-hitter?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! That's the state of Major League Baseball, and I'm mad about it. 10,000 people had the chance to see a no-hitter at Chase Field, and that was taken away when Blake Snell, the San Diego Padres' starter, was taken out of the game after seven innings -- and why? Because his pitch count was too high? Gimme a break! I don't know whose decision it was, but I hate it. It's bad for fans and it's bad for the sport, and I'd argue that it's bad for the players too. When something special can be taken away from you, it drains the competitive edge. UGH!! Anyway, I should probably admit that I had a good time aside from all this nonsense. The Arizona Diamondbacks are like 8 million games out of 1st place, but their underrated stadium is still a gem. I snagged a few baseballs during batting practice, wandered up to the upper deck to enjoy the view (and watch the live organist), and had a VERY COOL seat for the game with close proximity to superstar Fernando Tatis Jr. And as for the famous swimming pool out in right-center field . . . make sure you watch this entire video because something special happened there in the 9th inning. This video, BTW, was filmed on August 31, 2021 by "Fenway Chris," and it was edited by Rachel Messbauer. Thanks very much for watching!
