Description: Back then explorers wanted to find the fastest route from Europe to Asia. The arctic archipelago just north of Canada provide this possibility, however, the route was proven to be a challenge. Many explorers had some success charting a portion of this and there was one ambitious man who wanted to finish the remaining, unfortunately, he and his expedition ended up missing.
