Description: We got invited by KTM to come by and test the all new KTM 690 SMC R in Portugal! How could we say no to that! We tested the KTM 690 SMC R in true Supermofools style. We rode it on the streets, on the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve and did stoppies, burnouts and wheelies with it ofcourse.. And the biggest fool, Crashking, crashed the brand new KTM. You could say again we absolutely loved riding the bikes. We can't tell you all the specs. But we can say: The 690 SMC R is heavier than an EXC supermoto The 690 SMC R is just as fun as an EXC Top speed of the 690 SMC R is really high, probably around 200km/h. The maintenance schedule on the 690 SMC R is way better than the EXC. Sometimes you'll miss the hooligan factor on the 690 SMC R in comparison to the EXC or other supermoto's. The EXC power is really raw compared to the 690 SMC R. The 690 SMC R would be really suitable to ride to work everyday and hit canyons or the track in the weekends. Want a bike that is a true supermoto and don't want a lot of maintenance, get a 690 SMC R. Want a light weight bike and just do hooligan stuff with it, get a 500 EXC-F and convert it to a supermoto.
