Description: I am training Goldrush to go completely without a bridle or Free Rein. I do not train him with whips to steer his head or shoulders, I am teaching him to go off my legs. NOTE- He has had nearly 2 weeks off after standing on a very large nail with his hind foot.... he is OK but will be another week or two before we can jump. This is our 7th training session on riding without any Free Rein or bridle... I I NEVER thought we would be able to achieve this due to Goldrush's natural hot nature. .....He always wants to take off and gets worried fast We are still VERY wobbly and a long way off our goal but I wanted to share our journey. Its never too late to have a new dream, to start training something new. My next goal is to jump a full coarse of 1.40 with nothing at all... Fingers Crossed!! I am currently making a comprehensive training series where you too can learn how to do this with your horse.
