The surgery was performed in a young adult for chronic tonsillitis. Appearance at all time points is NORMAL without any infection. The main areas of concern for most patients undergoing tonsillectomy healing is the swollen uvula and white eschar that appears, but as you can see here, that is expected and usual. White eschar may or may not be present on the uvula. Hopefully this video provides reassurance on normal recovery after tonsil removal.
