Description: This is the moment Ukrainian fighters blast a Russian tank to pieces with a single deadly shot. The 25th Airborne Brigade, an airborne formation of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, said on May 5: 'Accurate, precise, effective! That's how the brigade’s artillerymen work! One shot and a tank of the Russian occupiers is turned into scrap metal!' The brigade added: 'To be continued... 'Glory to Ukraine! Death to enemies!' In the footage, the enemy tank is seen stationary next to a wooded area as a missile flies across the field and blasts it to pieces with a single strike. Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 in what the Kremlin is calling a 'special military operation'. From February 24 to May 6, the total combat losses of Russian troops stand at around 24,900 personnel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian military also claims that Russia has lost 1,110 tanks, 2,686 armoured fighting vehicles, 502 artillery systems, 171 multiple launch rocket systems, 83 anti-aircraft systems, 199 warplanes, 155 helicopters, 1,926 vehicles and fuel tankers, 11 vessels, 324 tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, 38 units of special equipment and 90 cruise missiles. Meanwhile, a host of international organisations have banned Russia, already hit by economic sanctions, from taking part in sporting and cultural events, such as this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar, in response to the country’s invasion.
