I usually count on my own abilities in my projects, but this time I tried to make a product that can be used by anyone, not just maniacs. Last winter I had an idea to create a snowmobile, I started immediately, ten months ago. The video might look rapid, but actually it took a very long time to design an authentic look and working chassis. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * It is 90% 3D printed. The front half is printed of polyamide, which is the most expensive part of the project. Other parts are printed of ABS and headlights of transparent material. I used Kyosho blizzard caterpillar which is ideal for such a project. Also used Axial shocks and ESC, small wheels and bearings from RC4WD Predator Tracks, custom 3D printed transmission. Steering "wheel" is made of metal rod. Polyamide parts are primed and painted with acrylic paint. The seat is covered with artificial leather.
