I went to the salon and didn't really "need" a trim because my ends were perfect from moisturizing and sealing nightly and doing the baggy method. Applying a plastic baggy to the ends allows me to retain way more moisture to my ends. My ends have been doing great, and I can see a real difference with my hair and maintained a lot of length before I decided to trim off more hair three weeks ago.
