While there are some points of excellence in it, and many find a lot to enjoy about it, there are some aspects of it that in my book, wildly detracts from the movie as whole. However, it’s not as simple as blaming director Sam Raimi for having pulled another Spider-man 3, as the aspects that didn’t work aren’t unique to this movie so much as they are indicative of a larger producer and writer issue that affects the current phase of the MCU as a whole. In this editorial, I will begin with establishing how Doctor Strange’s issues are a direct continuation of WandaVision’s, how these issues came to be, and how they subsequently resulted in the total character assassination of Wanda, The Scarlet Witch.
