Description: Duke Commit Jaden Schutt and Yorkville Christian (tiny Class 1A school) squad play a grueling high school basketball schedule facing most of the toughest competition in the midwest regardless of school size. They faced Chicago Public League Power Kenwood Academy whose only loss to an in-state (Illinois) opponent this season was to fellow Public League power Simeon Career Academy. Coached by Mike Irvin, Kenwood is led by Senior Trey Pettigrew, juniors Darrin Dai Dai Ames and Davius Loury and freshman Bryce Heard among others. The teams met at the 2022 Breast Cancer Shootout at Chicago Orr Academy HS on the city's West Side. Kenwood knew what was coming but Jaden Schutt still showed out. Check out the highlights from the 75-68 upset win. Unofficially Schutt finished with either 30 or 33 points depending on reports.
