Description: 🍹 FREE COCKTAIL TEMPLATES: bit.ly/cocktail-templates 🏆 SUBMIT YOUR COCKTAIL: bit.ly/coffee-cocktails-intro HOW TO MAKE A SIGNATURE COCKTAIL Want to make a signature cocktail for a wedding drinks menu or for your bar? I use the following technique to create original cocktails. First, pick a classic cocktail or a cocktail family (sour, bittered sling, collins, cobbler, etc.) and substitute some or all of the ingredients (keeping the balance in mind ie. sub spirit for spirit, liqueur for liqueur, acidic components such as citrus for other acidic components, etc.). Here's an easy example... a classic Old Fashioned (also known as a bittered sling) is made with whiskey, sugar and bitters. Make the following substitutions: whiskey becomes rum, sugar becomes maple and aromatic bitters becomes chocolate bitters... and you've just made a Maple Rum Old Fashioned using the Old Fashioned / Bittered Sling as a template! Place a straw as represented in the wood-cut. As you can see in the above Sherry Cobbler recipe, it's "strong" (Sherry), sweet (sugar) and citrus. I've simply used this formula in creating the Coffee Cobbler. See below... Coffee Cobbler: Strong = Rum, coffee liqueur, grand marnier Sweet = Grand marnier, sugar Citrus = Orange slice, lemon juice COBBLER RECIPES: @Behind the Bar - youtu.be/ULR8oXkxbpM @The Educated Barfly - youtu.be/WZ5dPeA0Awk @How To Drink - youtu.be/bD1XoJnuBlk Music: Holstein - Jobii 📈 MY MOST POPULAR VIDEOS 🎬 5 Quick & Easy Vodka Cocktails: youtu.be/1z5FCi-XpHQ 🎬 10 Easy Cocktails in 10 Minutes: youtu.be/IRkM8jsG-hY 🎬 How to make the Best Mojito: youtu.be/NANdz-YKMUw 🎬 The Best Whiskey Sour Recipes (Top 3): youtu.be/qQeS7ki7cQc 🍹 RECOMMENDED BARWARE: - Cocktail Shaker: amzn.to/3xfsURJ - Hawthorn Strainer: amzn.to/379aYwi - Japanese Jigger: amzn.to/3sECWYO - Citrus Press: amzn.to/3gxinv5 - Mixing Glass: amzn.to/3edlMMI - Mallet / Lewis Bag Set: amzn.to/2QjSfJu - Clear Ice Mould: amzn.to/3sDr0GP 📷 CAMERA GEAR - Canon Mirrorless M6 MII: amzn.to/2PelxsA - Sigma 30mm f1.4: amzn.to/3v6A88D - Rode Wireless Go Lapel Mic: amzn.to/3auLprr
