You can either use 10 pennies (1c), 2 nickels (5c), 1 dime (10c) or 1 quarter with 15 cents back in change. As you probably noticed, all of these 4 combinations make up 10 cents. You can choose between 7 different colors of gumballs, and this does not depend on what kind of coin you use. Since there are 4 ways you can pay with the machine, and 7 different colored gumballs to choose from - the machine has 28 options/combinations of using it, which is record-setting. ABOUT THE MECHANISM: The mechanism has a completely new style. It has a coin sorter that sorts the coins to lead them into their individual coin mechanisms.There are four coin mechanisms, each representing a different value, and they are all hooked up to the same candy dispenser. This single candy dispenser can dispense 7 different colored gumballs. The dime mechanism is the usual "lifting bar" mechanism. The coin mechanism for the pennies is completely new. This mechanism only accepts exactly ten pennies. The nickel mechanism is somewhat new, but has been seen before on other YouTube channels including AstonishingStudios. The mechanism only accepts 2 nickels. The last coin mechanism is for the quarters. It works just like the dime mechanism, but has an attached change dispenser, which dispenses 3 nickels after a purchase.
