Description: In April this year Around the Dog World was filmed for the first time in across the border. The venue for the most recent programme was Keslo where the show covers Hound Association of Scotland. Being over the border it seemed the perfect time to find out a little more about some Scottish native breeds - Gordon Setters and Dandie Dinmont Terriers. The cameras were of course at a Hound specialist show, so it only made sense to gain a little knowledge on a few hounds too, among the breeds were Beagles and Bassets Hounds. The only breed which falls in both categories; a Scottish hound, is one that had to be focus on, the Deerhound. We are guided through the history and characteristics of each breed by some of the best know owners and breeders. Also on the show you can watch extended highlights of the Best in Show judging at Hound Association of Scotland, where, just a month after winning Best in Show at Crufts, Mike Gadsby was judging his first hound group.
