Description: Broken knee surgery story and scar reveal. Following on from last week's in hospital video, I tell you what went down with the surgery to fix my tibial plateau fracture. The fracture is a rare type of broken knee and required intense surgery to fix it. Originally, I thought I was going to have one pin in my leg and some bone grafting, so imagine my surprise when I saw the X-ray of my leg for the first time! I have a plate and 8 screws! The surgery went well but unfortunately, the pain management afterward did not. I was in excruciating pain for around 36 hours which was ...yeah, HORRIBLE. I am now recovering at home and my scar is beginning to heal. I am still unable to walk for a few weeks and have to use a walking frame.
