Description: For this mini project we're going to cover a simple, easy method of plugging a hole in a tire. No expensive tools or tire unmounting. We'll cover the method, the tools used, and common precautions when deciding if a tire can be repaired or needs to be replaced. This is a close-up look at the method I have used several times now with no failures after as long as two years on the road driving with a plugged tire. As we cover in the video, not all punctured tires can be repaired, and sidewall damage means tire replacement. Take caution when performing a repair like this and consider the possible dangers/conditions that this could create, be smart and be careful. These are my experiences with this type of repair but it doesn't mean it will work the same way every time.
