Description: I wanted to see how sunspots are moving over time, so based on the 1 hour long time lapse video from NASA (youtu.be/l3QQQu7QLoM) I made this shorter version with the sun fixed in place and not rotating anymore. This has been achieved by sequencing one frame per revolution for the front and the back side (left and right). To improve visual quality, pixel motion vectors were estimated and additional in-between frames were generated. For more background information please refer to the source video.
