Here we start by exploring the colours in the shadows. Even though I have heard of some of these ideas before, it was while making this video that I really started to be able to see these colours more clearly. You may have thought that shadows just make things darker, but in fact they open things up for totally different light sources to have a stronger influence. This information about shadow colours makes a huge impact on your ability to paint. We'll study some master paintings and explore the colours we see in the real world around us. Hope you enjoy it!
